Walking Bass Arpeggio Study in G...

Good chord and back-up practice... not to mention a good exercise for pick control.

This exercise is essentially 'sweep'-picked... meaning the pick moves in one direction until it has completed a 4-note sweep. Then the pick reverses direction and goes the other way (downward). You have to keep the pick loose in your fingers in order to reverse the direction effectively, and without losing the pick.

Not a bad sounding exercise.
