I was looking for some common ground with a guitar student today and happened upon this old Warren Zevon tune...
It's not exactly a traditional or fiddle tune, but the chord progression (1, 4, 5 in the key of D) makes a good vehicle to practice flatpicking patterns over.
The licks in this arrangement are major scale based with occasional blues and pentatonic scales patterns thrown in for fun.
I also left some empty sections to act as backing rhythm tracks for those interested in jamming over this fun tune.
